Show Notes

  1. Just because SOMETHING in your daily routine, especially if it is a quantifiable measure, is low (e.g. HRV), it does not mean that you have to abandon your whole play for that day. Adapt, adjust and ALWAYS consider the context, details and options.
  2. TSS (training stress score), especially for cycling, has massive limitations. You need to know them, and try to work around them if you are using this particular (OR ANY OTHER) load metric!
  3. Figure out your athletes PROFILING earlier than you think. This can easily be done non-invasively and can propel a rider’s career much faster if they train appropriately to their “natural” preference.
